International Aluminium Institute's full-sector materiality assessment
Overview
Ever has worked with the International Aluminium Institute and its members over the course of two years to develop a world-first double materiality assessment and analysis for the entire aluminium sector, including its full supply chain.
Working with cross-institutional organisations and their members is something that we really enjoy doing at Ever, as organisations like the IAI can be incredible leverage points for effecting large-scale change.
How we worked together
We worked closely with the IAI's Secretariat to co-create a methodology for a cross-sectoral research, analysis and evaluation project to map material issues across the supply chain and validate their importance and impact with the 30+ different members of the institute. This was a hugely wide-ranging and long-running piece of work that enabled the member businesses to understand clearly their progress as an industry and alongside others in the same field.
